Kat Magill is a 2x National Poetry Slam finalist, HBO Def Jam Poet, Creator of the Poetic Film: The Myth and self-made artist inspiring courageous acts of independence through poetic expression. Kat has featured on HBO, Current TV, Politicon, and for the United Nations. She believes love is a restorative force of bravery that initiates self-exploration. Kat’s mission is to empower people by sharing her most challenging lived experiences through performance poetry, media and joy-based lectures inspiring others to discover the strength and resilience within themselves.
