Mental Health Services Coordinator, Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health

Nelly Arias is a Mental Health Services Coordinator with Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health- Partners in Suicide Prevention. She started her career with the county in 2004 after she graduated from California State University, Los Angles with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She has worked in different departments such as the Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Health Services, and now Mental Health. As a member of Partners in Suicide Prevention, some of her primary duties are to promote public awareness and early detection and intervention on suicide prevention.
